Holidays...

I'm always excited when this time of year rolls around!  The cold, crisp air--the smells of cinnamon and gingerbread--the excitement in the eyes of the children!  I'm crazy blessed in so many ways.  I'm thankful have the experience of being a full time mom to my kids--being their caregiver and their teacher.  The ah-ha moments and the sparkle in their eyes as they learn something new.

Selecting just the right gifts for everyone is a special time.  Thanks to a 4-H friend, we've found the perfect craft to make for aunts & uncles from the girls.  We found some great boxes in Oklahoma to package cookies, candy and other goodies for gift giving!  But by far my favorite is the Christmas Calendar!  This tradition started 16 years ago with a simple tear-off calendar with just a few pictures of my new baby girl!!  It has grown to have 12 unique pages of pictures with all the dates for our immediate family and extended (Dad and Moms siblings, nephews, nieces--birthdays and anniversaries).  Here is a link so you can see the Cassel 2010 Calendar for some reason Google Docs made the pics a little lower quality but it will give you an idea of what I do.  I've considered doing these for other peopel...what do you think?  I'd have to charge at least $50 for the first calendar with extras for $15 each.
